Strapless Silver Embroidery with a Star-Speckled Gauze Skirt [Shuang Die]
Technical details
About this item
[Shuang Die]
This is a strapless gauze skirt. The bodice has a square neckline, with silver floral appliqué on the chest. Over it sits a layer of ivory gauze sleeves, the cuffs very wide, the hem trailing to the ground. Fine stars run in straight lines down the skirt, with butterfly-shaped sequins scattered among them.
The same cut appears in two colors in the source pictures. The ice-blue skirt is paired with a pale blue ribbon, and the champagne skirt with a pale gold ribbon. The silver embroidery on the chest and the ivory gauze sleeves are shared; what changes is the skirt color and the ribbon color. Series pin: Frost Butterfly / [Shuang Die].

Frost butterfly under the sleeve
Frost has not yet fallen, but the butterfly is already bright. When the gauze sleeve opens, the star lines are still where they were.
One cut, two colors
Ice blue sits close to mist, and the ribbon is pale blue as well. Champagne is warmer, and the ribbon turns pale gold. Both colors use a square-neck bodice with silver embroidery, and both outer sleeves are ivory gauze.
The hem trails at the feet, and the sequins run down the vertical lines. The pictures are styling references. The cut is locked to this piece; the person and the setting are changed.
Left is the ice-blue seated train. Right is champagne with a fan. The ribbon colors differ; the bodice and the gauze sleeves are still the same cut.
Open the sleeves, and the stars show
When the arms lift, the ivory gauze sleeves open to either side. The silver embroidery stays on the square neckline, and the pale blue ribbon hangs in front of the skirt. The columns and paper windows only change the setting. The garment is not a different cut.
The butterfly sequins sit on the vertical star lines; they are not a separate embroidered panel. The skirt reaches the ground, and the train spreads wider than in a standing pose.
The champagne set still wears a pale gold ribbon under the lamps. Silver embroidery sits on the strapless bodice, and butterfly sequins scatter along the skirt.

- The bodice has a square neckline, with silver floral appliqué on the chest

Choose the color from the swatches on the page. The source pictures do not print measurements, so none are added here. What to look for in Frost Butterfly is the silver embroidery on the strapless bodice, the ivory gauze sleeves, and the layer of stars and butterfly sequins on the skirt.
