About this item
Ink and Crimson, Gold Branches
A cross-collar, wide-sleeve outer robe worn over a black middle garment, with a pale band showing along the collar edge. Pale gold branch lines run down the sleeves, and the lining shows when the cuffs hang. The skirt is pleated. On the vermilion colorway the skirt face is divided into vertical bands, passing from ink and off-white into vermilion.
The same set also comes in ink: the ground is near black, long thin red petals are scattered over the robe and the skirt, and the collar edge is a thin light blue. The sword, folding fan, flute, forehead ribbon, and hair crown are styling for the shoot. The source photos give no bust, waist, or garment-length figures, so none are invented here.
How the two colors split
This vermilion colorway is red shot through with black, and it deepens toward the sleeve edge and the garment edge. The branch lines stay on the sleeves; they are not all-over embroidery. The standing frame shows a beast-face ornament buckle at the waist; the other frames show a red tie. The buckle is described only from that frame, not as something sewn onto every set.
On the ink colorway the red flowers run from the robe onto the skirt, and the petals are long and thin. The flower is not given a separate botanical name. The middle garment is black in both colors.
A side note in verse
Cross collar, pale edge
Gold branches on the sleeve
Vermilion fading into ink
Skirt pleats in layers
The side note names the theme. It is not platform copy.

The left image lifts one wide sleeve so the branch line shows more fully; the sword in the hand is a prop. The right image is seated, the skirt volume is spread, and the writing sits on the fan face, not printed on the clothes.
Collar and sleeves
The collar is a cross collar, not a round collar. The black middle garment shows at the neckline. The cuffs are wide, and the lining shows when they hang. On the vermilion colorway the lining leans white; on the ink colorway, opening the sleeve shows a light gray-blue lining.
When seated, the pleats of the vermilion skirt spread, and the vertical bands sit next to one another: ink, off-white, vermilion. The tie is fastened at the waist and follows the outer robe: vermilion uses a red tie, ink uses a dark sash.

In the clean studio shot this ink colorway shows the flowers in full: robe and skirt are ink ground with red flowers, and the collar edge is a thin light blue. The flute in the hand is a prop.

Lining and hem
This outdoor frame of the ink colorway opens one wide sleeve, and the light gray-blue lining shows. The red flowers on the skirt reach the hem. The sword in the hand is still a prop and does not come with the garment.
The middle garment is black in both colors. The difference is the outer robe ground, the collar edge, and the skirt pattern.

Care note
The source photos have no wash label. Treat the branch lines and the floral pattern in the ordinary way: a gentle hand wash, or a low cycle inside a laundry bag. Do not soak for long, and do not tumble-dry on high heat. Hang to dry in the shade and let the pleats relax on their own. The waist ornament, the folding fan, and the sword do not come with the garment; do not put them in water.
Match the color to the garment you receive and to this shop's photos. Lighting can shift the color slightly. The beast-face waist ornament appears only in the vermilion standing frame.
