Zanhong
The inner layer is a sage chest-high top, with red flowers embroidered across the chest and gold thread along the petal edges. Over it is a sheer crimson wide sleeve. Near the body the cuffs and skirt hem are still blush pink, and only the lower edge deepens to dark crimson.
A red sash is tied at the waist, with a row of gold embroidered pieces hanging at the center. The skirt is pleated, and its pattern also moves from pale to deep. When the arms lift, the sleeves spread open, and the sage straps and skirt show through the gauze.
Zanhong
Clouds recall her robes, flowers her face; the spring breeze brushes the rail, and dew lies thick on the blossoms.
She lifts a long length of sheer crimson gauze overhead. The gauze is transparent; beneath it are the sage embroidered inner layer, the red sash, and the center row of gold pieces.
The hem trails on the stone, fading from near-white to crimson. The flowering-branch embroidery along the sleeve edge lifts with the gauze; it is not a flat print.

Seated under the flowering tree, the wide sleeves spread at her sides. On the sleeve are red flowers, fine branches, and a plume of gold embroidery extending from the middle of the sleeve.
The inner straps are still sage, embroidered with red flowers. The red sash hangs from the waist and lies across the gradient pleated skirt.

Sheer gauze spreading from behind the shoulders
With her back to the water, the crimson wide sleeves open to both sides, and the gold flowering-branch embroidery runs from the shoulder line to the sleeve edge. The inner bodice is dark, while the outer gauze still lets the light through.
The hem continues from blush pink into crimson. The flowers in the hair and the red tassels by the ears are styling, not pieces of the garment.
